Troubleshooting Problems |
| No dial tone |
1. Verify that phone is plugged into the phone jack and not the ethernet jack. |
| 2. Unplug your phone and try it in another room. If the phone works in that room, the jack is probably bad. Report a repair here. |
| 3. If the phone does not work in the other room, the problem may be with the instrument. Plug another phone into the jack in your room. If you are still experiencing problems, submit an online repair or call 644-HELP (4357). |
| Can call out, but are not receiving calls |
1. Verify callers are using the correct area code (850). |
| 2. Make sure the ringer is turned on and the volume is turned up. |
| Static |
1. Hang up and try the call again. |
| 2. If there is static on all calls, make sure the telephone wire is plugged firmly into the jack. |
| 3. If static continues, try plugging another phone into the jack. If the problem persists, report a repair here. |
