Mobile spamming, SMS spam or SpaSMS, most frequently referred to as m-spam.
Alltel takes mobile SPAM very seriously. While we put preventative measures in place to control SPAM to our wireless Customers, it has come to our attention that some of our customers have recently received such messages. We are taking additional steps to add to our SPAM filtering capabilities to block these messages from coming into our network. Registered text messaging users can control/block messages coming from e-mail addresses and web sites through Alltel's' text messaging site at http://message.alltel.com.
To register:
- Click on "Sign In"
- Then click Need Your Password (a generic password will be sent to your mobile phone)
- You can change your password at any time in Personal Settings once you have signed in.
