DESCRIPTION
Meet Me Conference is offered by
the Office of Telecommunications (OTC) to all faculty who wish to
hold a call with 3 to 30 people.
How it works:
OTC will activate
a special line, which will be given prior to your conference. When
this number is activated, it is open for your conferees to dial
and join the conference.
The Meet Me
Conference feature is advantageous to FSU customers in three
respects:

SIZE:
Meet Me Conference calls can include up to thirty people.

COST:
Unlike three-way and six-way conferences, which are initiated
by calls from on-campus lines, Meet Me Conference Calls are
initiated by calls from the participants, whether they are on-campus
or not. So when long-distance charges apply, they will be charged
to the individual participants, not to the FSU department that
arranged the Conference.

CONVENIENCE:
Meet Me Conference is easy to reserve, and simple to use!
To Reserve, simply complete
and submit a Telecommunications
Service Request (TSR) to your OTC
consultant. Your consultant will:

Schedule
the Conference Call
-
Provide
instructions
-
Activate
the feature at the appropriate time

Verify
the call is complete
- Deactivate
the feature at the appropriate time
- There is
a one time $16.75 Order Processing Fee charge, for the
FSU department who arranged the Conference.
- Long-distance
charges only apply to individual participants, not to the FSU
department who arranged the Conference.

should be used for estimate purposes only.**
To Use,
- Confirm
with OTC your conference has been reserved (Your consultant
will provide you with number to dial).
- Provide
dial-in-number to conference participants.
- At
reserved time, participants should dial specified dial-in-number
provided to them.

Note: First participant to dial
into the meet-me-conference will continue to hear the line ring
until another participant joins the conference.
- A
tone will be heard as participants join the conference.
- To
end conference, participants simply hang up.

The M2317 phone must have the CNF or 3WC programmed to
