FSU offers the five following basic Classes of Service (COSs) for use by faculty and staff:
| Class 20: |
Campus, local, operator-assisted calls, SUNCOM, Credit Card, Collect calls, Direct-dial long distance and International calls. |
| Class 23: |
Campus, local, operator assisted calls and SUNCOM calls. |
| Class 24: |
Campus and local calls. |
| Class 25: |
Campus, local; operator-assisted calls, SUNCOM, long distance dialing, and International calls made with authorization code. |
| Class 26: |
Campus only. |
Class of Service is included with recurring charges. There is no charge to change your class of service.

NOTE: All campus phones can dial 1 + 800 numbers.
